Daniel Dunavant, DDS
Dr. D is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry and Tennessee Technological University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association and Memphis Dental Society. From 2011 until 2015, he served as an associate dentist at Reese Family Dentistry in Covington. He established Dr. D's in Bartlett in 2014, continuing to provide dental care for people at Reese Family Dentistry until branching out on his own in 2015.
Dr. D believes in community involvement and global missions. He has volunteered for the Mid-South Mission of Mercy, Bellevue Mobile Dental Clinic, Dental Cares Free Dentistry Day, and served in 2011 as the team dentist on a Highpoint Church mission trip to Pucallpa, Peru. He has also participated in several local health fairs.
He has a wonderful wife, Melanie, and together they have 3 beautiful children- Joshua, Lucy, and Peter. They have lived in the Memphis area for over 10 years, and they are active members of Highpoint Church in Memphis. Dr. D and his wife participate in men's and women's ministry, and they are also part of a class devoted to family legacy. In his spare time Dr. D likes spending time with his family, playing guitar, listening to music, and hiking.
Pam Alexander, Dental Practice Administrator
Pam Alexander, Dental Practice Administrator, holds a B.S. in Secondary Education with a specialization in Business. Pam has over 20 years dental and management experience. She is committed to continuing education to say abreast of the latest techniques available and to lead Dr. D’s Family Dentistry to the forefront of dental innovation. She continuously works to make sure patients receive the highest quality dental care using the latest state-of-the-art technology.
Pam is a native Memphian. She is the assistant pianist at her church where she also serves as a member of the Session. She loves to travel and especially enjoys America’s National Parks. She and her husband, Norm, have resided in the Lakeland area since 1987.
